- A quasi-repeater mode for the Fonera, where it is possible to wirelessly extend the range of a FON AP. This is not WDS, but a client mode connection to another AP and the usual FON_AP concurrently. The advantage is that there are virtually no compatibility problems, a Fonera can connect to virtually any AP, be it unencrypted, WEP, WPA or WPA2 TKIP encrypted
- Extended status information
- Configuration backup and restore function
- Enable SSH access
- Enable SSH and Webinterface access from LAN/Internet
- The supporting code for a webinterface-wide help function, content still to come =)
- Easy installation via a two step "assistant", which is a website with instructions and two easy buttons which exploit the known hole in the webif to automatically install the addons
